Interrupt busy telephones
If an employee is busy on an existing call, that call will be interrupted. The call is placed on hold until the employee has accepted the alarm. The original call can then be continued.
The employee must confirm the alarm message. If the alarm message has not been confirmed, the employee will keep receiving the specific signals.
Distinguishing different alarms
Ability to distinguish between messages from various call systems so a “fire alarm” and an “emergency call" for designated employees have different sounds.
