Meet Me requests allows the paged employee to return the call that is waiting from any IP telephone within the organisation. The caller is ‘parked’ until the paged employee dials a specific number that will link the caller and paged employee in a joined conversation.
If responding too late, the called employee will be notified that the call has been forwarded to an alternative destination and asked if they also want to be routed to this destination.
The original called employee is notified of the missed call via SMS and/or email.
Call Me functionality requires the paged employee to call back the caller. This caller isn’t waiting so the pager shows the caller’s return number.
